This goat is basically a legend in the Boer goat industry, he was a direct import from South Africa. Ubora, owned by Downen Livestock in Early, TX, is the sire of many Grand Champions and has won his share as well:
1996 West Texas Fair Grand Champion and Supreme Champion Boer Buck
1997 Texas state Fair Grand Champion AMGA Boer Buck
1997 ABGA National Reserve Champion Get of Sire

This buck was imported from South Africa. He is considered one of the greatest Boers in the industry he was a highly influential sire with exceptional genetic traits, such as large body size, and high fertility, which were and still are traits that are highly sought after by Boer breeders. Kaptein was also a sought after buck due to his desirable physical characteristics, which helped establish the modern Boer goat standard as we know it today.

He is sired by Ennobled Downens' Big 85, sired by the great South African Boer Buck 007. Pipeline is out of Lobola S.A., the daughter of Ennobled Downens'519. Pipeline is very structurally correct with heavy bones, tremendous muscling and length. It is said by many admirers that, "Pipeline has a butt like a hog." This outstanding quality of muscling and length is obvious in his offspring as well. Pipeline has surpassed his ancestors and has developed into a type of his own.

This Well built buck wasnt Ennobled, but does show up in many lines of Boer Goat Pedigree Amazingly. He was shown in ABGA National Show in 2003 at just 11.9 months old but only placed 6th place. However that didnt stop others from seeing this bodacious beauty of a buck and wanting to add them to their herds genetics.
