Past Does
Here is our memorial for all does that have been with Midgardr in the past.
Tripod
I was so excited for this doe. she was 100% registered fullblood and my baby or one of my babies haha. She ended up having to be a sacrifical sell due to funds being low and us needing hay. I miss her everyday and i hope shes well.
Duvessa
Duvessa was another one of my favorites. She came out of Vicky my first fullblood doe and her father was my first fullblood buck. both registered and Duvessa was as well. I ended up selling her as well due to financial struggle. I hope she is well where shes at her Half sister lona is taking her place at the moment.
Kodi
This girl was my biggest heart break. She is the production that i had waited so long for. Her sire was Cedar Hawk ranch Dream on henry, and her mother was Ohana. In 2020 Kodi was born and I was so excited, I named her after her Grandpa Koda He was my moms first Fullblood Buck. I loved this kid to no end. Her first kidding was a disaster. She showed no signs of labor, presented a wet tail no noises. no pushing.... It kills me any time i think about it but her kid was stuck and im not sure for how long but his head had swollen and she couldnt get him repositioned. We ended up having to put her down after multiple attempts to dislodge the kid. we didnt realize he was lodge until after and why. I miss this girl every day. but i will forever be thankful for her.... because if i didnt go through what i went through with her i would have went through a really dark path in my relationship at the time. She will forever be my Angel. RIP Kodi.
Ohana
Ohana was a kid out of my moms first fullblood doe named Abby and my moms first Fullblood buck Koda. This doe was my absolute best friend and I swore id never ever sell her. in 2024 i broke that promise and traded her for an 88% doe. I wish i hadnt of but Topaz the new kid isnt bad at all shes sweet. I just miss my best friend but i couldnt stop feeling like something was going to happen to her if i didnt let her go and i would have broke even more after her daughter passed. Alot of her kids have not made it sadly a lot of them have passed on so my brain also said its for the best. we needed to start a new path. I miss her every day though.
Momo
This was another heartbreak due to financial struggle. Momo was a fullblood cedar hawk dream on henry kid out of Ohana and sister to Carina. I hated having to let her go but i did because i had to i had worked so hard to get black and white dapple in my herd and had to start all over and still am as of 2025
Stitch
Stitch was a lifer doe that i took on because she meant so much to me and my mom. she was part of the beginning of the start of our goat farming journey. She stayed until we had to let her go, She was losing a lot of weight and i was feeding hay and minerals and she just couldnt gain weight fast enough so we knew something was wrong. January 9th we had to put her down, and discovered she had the infamous old doe wolf teeth at 9 years old. She was such a blessing to have on the farm and was always the last one in from the pasture when the girls got to enjoy the pasture lol .she will be dearly missed.
Carina
This doe was part of the 2022 hard year. The one were Kodi her half sister died due to birthing complications. yeah that one. If you've followed me on tiktok you are well aware that in february or march of 2022 Carina went into labor before Kodi, and Carina was pushing i knew she was giving birth however no bag was represented, and she was struggling. so i went in checked positions, repositioned and pulled kids because i could tell she was exhausted. both kids dead on arrival. But i was able to save Carina. the next day Kodi went into labor and yeah all that.
Carina was sold to auction Due to not being able to afford 16 goats at the time. I miss her everyday.
Princess
I was so looking forward to keeping Princess but having 16 goats and only getting 578 a week plus the bills i was trying to get paid off didnt leave much room for hardly any goats. I had to sell her and a nice couple came and got her. so i hope she is doing well.
